This past weekend we had the privilege to photograph the beautiful wedding of Jeff and Jamie up in Canmore. Their ceremony and reception were both held at the stunning Stewart Creek Golf and Country Club- a venue that we really love. The staff is amazing, doing everything for the event including welcoming every guest at the door, the views are beautiful and the food is delicious!
The forecast called for snow but fortunately was inaccurate as the weather was spectacular and the low lying clouds gave us the opportunity to shoot in absolutely beautiful light. If you look carefully a few of these images include the huge heard of elk that wandered near to us!
Between the weather and the scenery this Edmonton couple gave their family and friends a beautiful day they will remember for years to come! We had a great time getting to know these two and their friends and families.

Chiara + Neil Sneak Peek

This past weekend Jaime and I had the honor of being the photographers at the wedding of Chiara and Neil and we had a great time. Chiara and Neil are a really fun couple that love laughing with each other and having fun and, when we photograph couples like this, their weddings inevitably end up being really fun events for all the guests (and the photographers too).
The day started with the girls getting beautiful at Ca Va Bien Hair Studio and Day Spa and all flowered up by the incredible Lakeview Flowers and then we were off to the Ceremony at Historic Trinity Lutheran Church- an incredible little church downtown. The ceremony was beautiful and emotional and, much to our surprise, featured Paul Brandt singing two of his amazing hit songs. It turns out he is an old family friend that promised years ago to sing for Chiara at her wedding. You should have seen the look on Jaime’s face when he started singing- like a fourteen year old at a Justin Bieber concert.
Jaime was able to compose herself and we toured around with the wedding party for a bit before arriving for the reception at Q Haute Cuisine, which proved to be an amazing venue. The food is spectacular, the staff is accommodating and the space is beautiful. During dinner and the speeches the guests filled out Chiara and Neil’s guest book with amazing images from the photobooth of Dance Shout Productions . Wild Bill’s DJ Services got the party started after our amazing meal and did a great job making sure that Chaira and Neil and all of their guests had a great time.
Jaime and I certainly had a great time with our new friends Chiara and Neil celebrating their marriage and we want to wish them grace, peace and love in their life together…
